SERVICES
24 hour Crisis Line - When a call is received, a crisis worker on duty will assess the situation, provide information, support, referrals and counselling.
A safe place for victims of family violence. The basic necessities of life are offered and the maximum amount of time a woman can stay at the shelter is six weeks.
Counselling & other supportive measures - practical information and available options are discussed to assist the woman in making her own choices. She will be supported and not judged - regardless of her decision.
Child Service Worker - A child care worker will assist your children so that they can feel safe during their stay. They will be given individual attention to explore their feelings. The CSW will also assist the children in all other areas of adjustments (new school, etc.). She will also help the mothers with any child care concerns that they may have.
Information on legal issues, housing, employment and other matters. Referrals to other support agencies will be made and the staff will advocate on the woman's behalf.
